Referral program guidelines

This program is primarily designed for Notion consultants, content creators, and experts passionate about improving workflows. Who is eligible to join the Slap Referral Program?
The program is designed for Notion consultants, content creators, experts, and anyone passionate about helping others improve their workflows with Notion! We review each application and reserve the right to approve or deny participation.
What do my referred clients get?
When your referred clients use your valid promo code at signup, they’ll receive their first month of Slap completely FREE!
When and how will I get paid?
Commissions are calculated and paid out monthly. We generally make payments via PayPal to the email address you provide. If PayPal isn’t suitable, we can discuss alternative payment methods by mutual agreement. Please note there’s a minimum payout threshold of $10 (we’ll hold commissions until your accumulated earnings reach this amount).
How should I promote Slap?
We encourage you to promote Slap ethically and accurately! Please avoid misleading claims or spammy behavior, as this could result in removal from the program.
What does participating in the program mean?
By participating in the Slap Referral Program, you agree to these guidelines.
How are my referrals tracked?
We track referrals using a unique Stripe promo code that we’ll provide to you upon approval. Your referred client must use this code when they subscribe to Slap.
How much commission will I earn?
You’ll earn 20% of the net subscription revenue (that’s the revenue after any payment processing fees or refunds) that Slap receives from clients who sign up using your promo code. This commission applies for their first 12 months of continuous subscription.
Are there any rules for using the promo code?

Yes, a few simple ones:

  • Promo codes are for new Slap customers only.
  • Each referred client can only use one promo code.
  • Self-referrals (using your own code for your own Slap subscription) are not permitted and won’’t earn a commission.
Can the referral program or my participation change?
Slap reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program, or a partner’s participation in it, at any time. We will always try to provide reasonable notice if this happens.
