Frank Pace runs a consulting business where email is the primary client communication channel. Before SlapMail, tracking client requests and project correspondence across Notion databases was a constant challenge. Today, every email thread is automatically synced, linked, and enriched with AI - without leaving Notion.
Frank, can you describe the problem you had before using Slap?
Before integrating Slap, it was difficult to effectively track client email requests and project correspondence within our Notion client and project databases. Email lived outside of Notion, which made it hard to maintain a reliable history of communications.
How are you using Slap today?
Now, every email conversation is automatically synced into Notion and linked to the relevant client and project records, giving us a reliable and searchable history of communications. This means we can confidently archive emails from our inbox once they have been read and responded to, knowing that the full record of the conversation is preserved within our Notion workspace.
What benefits have you noticed?
We have significantly enhanced our client experience and internal productivity by leveraging Notion’s built-in AI capabilities. Incoming emails captured via Slap are automatically summarised, urgent messages highlighted, and key client requests or requirements extracted - all directly within the client records stored in our Notion database.
From there, we can easily convert those AI-generated summaries into tasks, projects, and other Notion workflows. This enables our team to respond faster, stay organised, and ultimately deliver a higher level of customer service and consulting support.
