Mailbox Property - track the source mailbox for each thread

When several mailboxes sync to the same Notion database, it helps to know which mailbox created each page. The Mailbox Property stores the email address of the mailbox that originated a new thread in Notion.

This value is set only when Slap creates the page for a new thread.

Add or edit the Mailbox Property in a sync

1. Create a new sync or open an existing one.
2. In the field mapping step, choose a Text or Email property in your Notion database to use as the Mailbox Property.
3. Save the sync. The next time this sync creates a new Notion page, Slap will populate the property with the mailbox’s email address.

Common uses

• Use Notion Automations to assign pages or add tags based on the mailbox value.
• Build views per mailbox to separate sales@, support@, or personal inboxes.
