Connecting mailboxes to Notion
Slap allows you to connect multiple mailboxes to sync emails into your Notion workspace. You can configure this in a few ways:
- Many-to-One: Sync emails from several different mailboxes into a single Notion database. For example, have each salesperson on your team connect their inbox, with all leads syncing to one central “Leads” database.
- One-to-One: Sync emails from specific mailboxes to specific databases. For example, route emails from support@ to a “Tickets” database and sales@ to a “Leads” database.

How to add mailboxes to your Slap workspace
There are two ways to add a mailbox:
- Connect a mailbox you own directly
As the Owner, you can connect any mailbox you have direct login access to.
- Go to Syncs > Add a New Sync.
- In the “Mailbox” section, click Connect mailbox.
- Follow the steps to connect and authorize the account.
- Invite team members to connect their mailboxes
To sync emails from your team members’ individual mailboxes without requiring their login, you can invite them to your Slap workspace to let them add their mailbox by themselves.
- First, ensure the user has been added as a “Member” in Slap. See our Managing Users documentation for instructions.
- Next, send them a link to our guide for members: See How to connect your mailbox (for Members users).
- Once they have connected their mailbox, it will become available for you to select when creating a new sync.
