Prevent a workspace from sending emails

By default, Slap will automatically send an email whenever a new comment is created in a database synced with Slap. If you’d prefer not to send emails from Notion comments, you can disable this behavior in your settings.

How to disable email sending from Notion

1. Go to your Settings in Slap.

2. Uncheck the box next to “Allow sending emails from Notion”.

3. Click “Save settings”.

   

How it works

• When enabled (default setting): any new comment in a Notion page (synced with Slap) will trigger an email.
• When disabled: comments will remain within Notion, and no emails will be sent.

Important notes

• You can re-enable this feature at any time by revisiting your Slap settings.
• Your emails will still be synced with Notion.
